The Farmhouse "Il Castagnolino" is located at only 2 Km from San Gimignano, on the ancient way called "Via Francigena".

The rural building, lovingly restored, surrounded by olive trees, offers a unique view over the Towers of San Gimignano and the Valdelsa valley.

Our farm was built using environment-friendly techniques and materials: heating and hot water are provided by renewable energy, walls are painted with natural earth colors.

In our farmhouse we produce extra-virgin olive oil and organic saffron from San Gimignano – Protected Destination of Origin, we grow aromatic plants and the Certaldo Onion, a Slow Food Presidium.
